How to change WordPress default post format

Some WordPress themes supports different post formats. For example, Graphene Theme has 6 post formats likely,


You can use different post formats for different kinds of posts. Standard post format is selected by default. You can change it to Status or Image in WordPress settings. To change default Post Format, go to WordPress Admin –> Writing Settings and select different post format in Default Post Format. Then hit Save Changes button at the bottom of the page. That’s it! Your new posts will be in the changed post format unless you select another post format while writing a post!
