Yesterday I added a cute bird called “flying twitter bird” on this site. It follows the users when they scroll up or scroll down the page. When they move the mouse cursor on the bird, it shows a link to my twitter profile and tells them to tweet the current page. Additionally it also shows one of my recent tweets!
Isn’t it cool? Okay, lets see how to add this little bird to your website. If your site is running on WordPress, then you can use a plug-in called Animated Twitter Bird. To install this bird, download the plug-in from here and upload the folder into /wp-content/plugins/ directory and activate it through Installed Plugins in the dashboard. Then go to Animated Twitter Bird page under settings and enter your twitter username. There is another option to show your latest tweet. So if you want this bird to display your latest tweet, then select Yes, and press Save changes button. Thats all! Now refresh your page and see a cute blue bird flying on your site!

At this time it seems like WordPress is the preferred blogging platform available right now. (from what I’ve read) Is that what you’re using on your blog?
