Follow WordPress Category Feeds

Just like the normal WordPress site feed, wordpress categories and tags also has feeds. The category feed is located at site.url/category/categoryname/feed. This plugin automatically adds the RSS feed link to the current post categories after the post content. By default the plugin shows category feed link on single posts. You can change it’s settings to show it on other pages, such as archives as well. You can change it’s title in WP-Admin –> Settings –> Follow Category Feeds.

    Hi,

I just downloaded your plugin and I would like to know how can I add a rel= no follow to the links it creates.
Is there any way to add a pace before the text appears? or to make it bold? I tried putting the html on the “Title for Follow Category Feeds:” field but does not work.

I would also like to know if there is anyway I can display it with a shortcode or by putting the function somehow inside my code.
I would like to show somewhere inside the text describing the category for example here: http://www.elcupondedescuento.com/software/panda/
    Inside this:
or to put some text before the description text of the category

If you help me out I would be happy to to donate 🙂
I am not a programmer at all, but I am getting used to make small modifications already.

    Cheers!

      Hi Sebastian!
I’ve pushed an update (version 2.1.3) which allows you to add rel=”nofollow” into links. Please update plugin if you haven’t done it yet. Go to plugin options page and check Add rel=”nofollow” ... I’ll add shortcode and other features when I get some time.

Let me know if you have any suggestions to improve this plugin.

      Thank you! 🙂

Alright I learned how to style it using css.
    this is what I used:
    p.follow-cat-feed { !important; font-weight: bold; padding-top:10px; }
    works awesome.

This is really great. I was wondering if it is at all possible to change where this appears? I would really love for it to appear in the sidebar as a widget, for example.

    Thanks!
